An account will be locked if the user attempts to login three times with the incorrect password. However, the message displayed will remain the same. The message could be displayed if: •the username entered was incorrect •the password entered was incorrect •the consortium entered was incorrect •the account was locked

If, for any reason, the current session gets interrupted (PC goes offline, power cut etc) the transaction is stored against your username. When you log on again, perhaps from a different PC, a message similar to the one below will be displayed.
