If a template has been loaded, some fields will already be populated with the values entered when you saved the template. Else, complete the fields with the required information.
Clears any transactions added to the current process and allows you to enter new transactions with the batch amount zeroed.
You should use this option if your data entry is interrupted and you have further information to add later.
When you click the Suspend Batch button, a message will display confirming that the batch has been saved successfully. You can now safely exit the software if required. To reload the batch, click the Load Batch button in the Remittance screen.
If you have certain fields that contain the same information (e.g. multiple council tax payments at a value of £100) you can save a template for future use to save time during data entry.
After the required fields have been populated, click the Save Template button.
The following screen will be displayed.
Enter the Template Code and Batch Description and click the SAVE button.
The template can be accessed again by selecting the Load Template option in the Remittance screen
If a valid Reference number has been entered and the customer information is available in the Income Management software, the Show Balance will populate the screen with the customer's name and address and balance when the Show Balance option is selected.
Once all information about the new transaction has been entered, click the ADD button.
This transaction is displayed in the summary grid on the bottom of the screen.
The batch summary will be displayed on the status bar on the bottom of the screen
When all transactions have been added, continue to the Payments tab.
NOTE: You will not be able to submit data unless you have added payments equal to the Transaction Amount.
Payments are added in a similar way to transactions.
- Select the Method of Payment from the drop-down list (cash, credit card etc)
- Enter the Amount
- Enter a Payment Reference
- Click the ADD button - The Batch summary in the status bar will update with the new payment amount.
Once the Payment and Transaction amount balance, click the Submit Data button to process the transactions.
A remittance Processing Receipt will display, giving you the option to print.
